- • Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles with property damage and bodily injury, where attorney or litigation involvement is present.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for insured customers throughout the claims process, providing clear, empathetic, and consistent communication via phone, email, and text.
- • Assess insurance policy coverage, liability, and damages to determine appropriate claim settlements in alignment with legal and business standards.
- • Negotiate fair injury settlements with claimants, attorneys, third-party carriers, and vendors using structured negotiation tactics and critical thinking.
- • Utilize innovative claims platforms, estimate tools, and job aids to evaluate claims efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- • Maintain precise and timely documentation of all claim activities within the company’s claims system to ensure financial protection and regulatory compliance.
- • Collaborate with internal partners across departments to align strategic goals and drive value across claims initiatives.
- • Adapt to evolving operational demands and stakeholder expectations while managing multiple claims simultaneously across diverse venues.
- • Deliver exceptional customer service to individuals experiencing their first claims process, offering compassionate guidance and reducing stress through transparent communication.
- • Follow Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring trust with every claim interaction.
- • Operate remotely from a private, distraction-free home workspace with appropriate desk and seating.
- • Maintain a minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down / 5 MB up to ensure seamless communication and system access.
- • Obtain and maintain any required state adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, including passing a background check with the Department of Labor.
- • Terminate all existing insurance licenses and appointments prior to onboarding; do not hold outside appointments during employment.
- • Adhere to licensing requirements, including surrendering any resident producer license if instructed by the Centralized Licensing team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone
- • Must have a dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions
- • Must have minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down / 5 MB up
- • Must be willing and able to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire
- • Minimum 2 years’ experience in bodily injury claims handling or a related field (preferred)
- • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately (preferred)
