  • As a Research Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and dissemination of innovative health research projects. You will collaborate with a team of leading researchers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to address critical challenges in public health, healthcare delivery, and health equity.
  • Your responsibilities will span the entire research lifecycle, from conceptualization and proposal development to data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will contribute to the development of research methodologies, assist in securing funding through grant writing support, and ensure the rigorous execution of study protocols.
  • This role demands a blend of strong analytical skills, a passion for health-related issues, and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights. You will be instrumental in developing evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and the public.

  • You will be involved in managing data collection processes, which may include overseeing data entry, quality control, and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and participant confidentiality. This might involve working with diverse populations and ensuring equitable research practices.
  • A significant part of your role will involve quantitative and qualitative data analysis. You will utilize statistical software and qualitative analysis techniques to interpret findings, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • You will contribute to the writing of research reports, manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications, and presentations for conferences and stakeholder meetings. The ability to communicate complex research findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences is essential.
  • You will actively participate in project meetings, contributing to discussions on research progress, challenges, and strategic directions. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal team members and external partners will be crucial for project success.
  • This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of health innovation projects, potentially including areas such as digital health, behavioral interventions, health services research, implementation science, and health policy analysis.
  • You will support the Principal Investigators (PIs) and Project Directors in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • A commitment to advancing health equity and addressing disparities will be a core aspect of your work. You will contribute to ensuring that research designs and findings are inclusive and relevant to underserved communities.

🎯 Requirements

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Psychology, Sociology, or a related social science or health field.
  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in conducting health-related research, including experience with research design, data collection, and analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative).
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and/or qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, ATLAS.ti).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with literature reviews and contributing to research reports or publications.
