📋 Description
- • The role of Research Scientist at Anyone AI Labs involves measuring frontier model capability and developing reliable ways to evaluate what frontier models can and can't do.
- • The position requires designing benchmarks that prove a good evaluation, defending the methodology under lab scrutiny, and building frontier-grade evaluation packages across various areas.
- • Responsibilities include evaluation research, benchmark development, recruiting and calibrating experts, maintaining lab relationships, and delivering and disseminating results.
- • The ideal candidate will have a research background in ML evaluation or benchmarking, deep LLM/frontier-model benchmarking expertise, and fluency with the measurement problem.
- • The role involves working with subject-matter experts, developing evaluation packages with expert-verified ground truth, and ensuring rigorous QC.
- • The Research Scientist will also be responsible for recruiting, calibrating, and reviewing a pool of experts, being the final arbiter of correctness and frontier difficulty, and maintaining technical relationships with labs.
- • The position requires the ability to hold a team or expert pool to a rigorous standard, comfort with the full research loop, and fluency in English, with Spanish being a plus.
