• • As a Resource Manager at Thunder, you will play a pivotal role within our dynamic Shared Services organization, acting as the central hub for resource data integrity, capacity visibility, and critical resourcing insights across our global delivery teams.
• • Reporting directly to the SVP, Shared Services (Global Delivery Lead), this position is instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment, partnering closely with Delivery Leadership, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• • Your primary objective will be to empower leaders with accurate, timely, and actionable data, enabling them to make informed staffing decisions, achieve utilization targets, and effectively manage bench planning.
• • **Resource & Capacity Data Management:** You will be responsible for meticulously maintaining accurate and up-to-date resource profiles, including roles, skill sets, availability status, and current assignments within Thunder's Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool, Certinia.
• • This includes ensuring that capacity data truly reflects real-time availability, accounting for planned time off (PTO), public holidays, ongoing transitions, and any changes in role or responsibilities.
• • **Bench Visibility & Reporting:** A key facet of your role will involve providing consistent and insightful bench reporting, segmented by role, region, and specific capabilities.
• • You will proactively highlight emerging trends, potential risks, and the duration of resources on the bench, all based on defined playbook metrics and established performance indicators.
• • Ensuring that bench data is not only visible but also current and trusted across all levels of leadership is paramount to enabling effective resource allocation.
• • **Demand Intake & Staffing Readiness:** You will ensure that all new opportunities and change work initiatives meet Thunder's stringent staffing readiness standards before they are actioned.
• • This involves translating approved demand into clear staffing visibility within the PSA system, ensuring a seamless flow from opportunity to resource allocation.
• • You will partner collaboratively with Sales and Delivery Leadership to align pipeline projections with existing capacity assumptions, creating a realistic and achievable resourcing roadmap.
• • **Utilization, Forecast & Operational Reporting:** You will be tasked with producing and maintaining comprehensive weekly resourcing reports.
• • These reports will include detailed utilization metrics broken down by role and region, alongside trends and aging analysis for resources on the bench.
• • Your efforts will directly support forecast accuracy by ensuring that staffing plans accurately reflect the approved scope of work and its projected timeline.
• • You will be expected to surface risks and data gaps early in the process, allowing leadership to take proactive measures and mitigate potential issues.
• • **PSA Data Quality & Enablement:** You will own the accuracy and completeness of data within Certinia, specifically concerning resource roles, capacity allocation, assignments and their associated dates, and availability and utilization inputs.
• • This ownership extends to continuously identifying opportunities for improvement in resourcing workflows, standardizing templates, and enhancing reporting outputs to drive greater efficiency and insight.
• • **Subcontractor Capacity Visibility:** You will maintain clear visibility into the capacity and assignments of our subcontractor workforce.
• • This involves partnering closely with the Operations team to facilitate onboarding processes and ensure proper system access for subcontractors.
• • Providing accurate subcontractor utilization and availability data will be crucial in supporting leadership decisions for integrated project staffing.
• • **What Success Looks Like:** Success in this role is defined by leaders consistently trusting the resourcing and bench data without the need for extensive validation or second-guessing.
• • It means that utilization and bench discussions are driven by robust data and clear insights, rather than anecdotal evidence or assumptions.

• • Forecasts will demonstrate improved accuracy due to the reliability of inputs, reflecting accurate scope and timely planning.
