- • The Revenue Cycle Precertification Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity of patient care by securing prior authorizations for scheduled inpatient and outpatient services, directly supporting patient access to care while minimizing financial risk for Ochsner Health.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include obtaining clinical documentation, conducting medical necessity reviews, coordinating with physicians and Case Management to determine appropriate levels of care, and ensuring compliance with payer requirements and regulatory standards.

🎯 Requirements
- • Current LPN license in the state of practice
- • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma
- • Minimum 3 years of hospital-based experience in direct patient care
