This full-time, hybrid role is instrumental in shaping and scaling our returns and recovery operations, a critical component of our rapidly evolving business. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and are eager to make a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing companies headquartered in the US, this opportunity is for you.
- • As the Reverse Logistics Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our recovery logistics capabilities. Your primary focus will be to own and optimize our non-new sales channels, ensuring that returned products are efficiently processed, evaluated, and reintegrated into the sales ecosystem or disposed of responsibly. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the entire reverse logistics supply chain funnel, from the initial return initiation to the final disposition of goods. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, developing and implementing strategic solutions, and continuously improving our processes to maximize value recovery and minimize costs.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to managing and nurturing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other partners involved in the reverse logistics process. You will set clear performance expectations, monitor key metrics, and collaborate closely with these partners to ensure seamless operations and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). This includes negotiating contracts, conducting performance reviews, and driving continuous improvement initiatives with our external partners.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging Pattern's proprietary technology and AI-driven insights. You will utilize our extensive data analytics capabilities, which encompass over 46 trillion data points, to gain deep visibility into return trends, product performance, and recovery opportunities. By applying sophisticated machine learning and AI models, you will identify patterns, predict future return volumes, and develop data-backed strategies to optimize inventory management, pricing, and forecasting for returned goods.
- • You will be tasked with developing and implementing robust policies and procedures for all aspects of reverse logistics. This includes defining criteria for product inspection, grading, refurbishment, resale, donation, or disposal. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing clear guidelines that ensure compliance with regulations, maintain brand integrity, and align with our sustainability goals. You will also play a key role in developing and managing the P&L for the reverse logistics function, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving profitability within this segment of the business.
- • Collaboration will be a cornerstone of your success. You will work cross-functionally with teams across Pattern, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology, to ensure alignment and integration of reverse logistics strategies with overall business objectives. You will communicate effectively, present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, and champion best practices throughout the organization.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve our reverse logistics operations. You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership of challenges, and driving projects from conception to completion. Your ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and execute with precision will be highly valued. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale a critical function within a rapidly growing, award-winning company that is recognized for its employee experience and industry leadership.
- • Pattern has been recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America and by Inc. as one of the best-led companies.
