• A keen understanding of cache locality and the strategic application of zero-copy techniques where performance demands it will be essential.
• A strong grasp of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is crucial, encompassing a deep understanding of transaction execution mechanics, including gas accounting, calldata memory storage semantics, and state access patterns.
• You will analyze the practical implications of various opcodes and precompiles on real-world workloads.
• The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the MEV ecosystem from end-to-end.
• This includes familiarity with proposer-builder separation, the function of relays, private order flow, sophisticated builder strategies, and the intricate incentives that govern behavior within production networks.
• Prior experience with MEV searching or building MEV-adjacent systems is highly desirable.
• You will gain a thorough understanding of the transaction supply chain, including mempool dynamics, the impact of propagation latency, the use of private RPCs, and the roles of order flow providers and builders/relays.
• A profound passion for Ethereum, proof-of-stake blockchains, and decentralized systems is a core requirement for this role.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience writing high-performance Rust code, with a strong emphasis on optimization techniques such as profiling, flamegraphs, allocator choices, async runtime tuning, lock contention analysis, and cache locality optimization.
• Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), including transaction execution mechanics, gas accounting, calldata memory storage semantics, state access patterns, and the practical implications of opcodes and precompiles for real-world workloads.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the MEV ecosystem, from proposer-builder separation and relays to private orderflow, builder strategies, and the incentives shaping production networks.
• Familiarity with the transaction supply chain, including mempool dynamics, propagation latency effects, private RPCs, orderflow providers, and the roles of builders and relays.
• Passion for Ethereum, proof-of-stake blockchains, and decentralized systems.
• Experience with MEV searching or building MEV-adjacent systems (nice-to-have).
