Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and exceed a multi-million-dollar annual quota by closing transformational whitespace infrastructure deals with the world’s most influential hyperscalers and AI pioneers. You will quarterback every stage of the sales cycle—from first C-level conversation to global rollout—while orchestrating cross-functional teams across engineering, product, finance, and legal.
- • Develop and continuously refine a territory strategy that maps hyperscaler and AI expansion plans to DDC Solutions’ high-density cooling, HPC racks, and integrated power systems. Translate customer roadmaps into multi-year revenue forecasts and design-win targets that are reviewed quarterly with the SVP of Global Sales.
- • Cultivate and deepen board-level relationships with CTOs, VPs of Infrastructure, and Heads of Procurement at Meta, AWS, Microsoft, Google, Apple, CoreWeave, Lambda, and Oracle. Schedule quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and technical summits to position DDC as a strategic innovation partner rather than a commodity vendor.
- • Drive inclusion of DDC products into hyperscaler design standards, reference architectures, and approved-vendor programs. Work side-by-side with customer architects to co-author white papers, proof-of-concept test plans, and TCO models that demonstrate 20–40 % energy savings and PUE reductions.
- • Identify whitespace projects early—often 12–24 months before RFP—by monitoring GPU cluster roadmaps, liquid-cooling mandates, and next-gen chip thermal envelopes. Translate those insights into tailored solution bundles that combine rear-door heat exchangers, immersion cooling, and intelligent PDUs.
- • Lead deal teams of 5–10 specialists (application engineers, CFD modelers, finance, legal) through complex, multi-million-dollar negotiations that may span 18–36 months. Maintain Salesforce hygiene with stage-gate accuracy above 90 % and deliver weekly forecast calls that give leadership confidence to scale manufacturing capacity.
- • Represent DDC Solutions at premier industry events such as OCP Global Summit, AI Hardware & Edge AI Expo, and Bay Area Hyperscaler Roundtables. Deliver keynote talks and technical deep-dives that elevate brand visibility and generate 3–5x pipeline multipliers within 90 days of each event.
- • Collaborate with Product Management to funnel customer feedback into next-generation cooling architectures—e.g., 800 kW rack densities, two-phase immersion, and AI-driven controls—ensuring our roadmap stays 18 months ahead of hyperscaler demand curves.
- • Negotiate global master service agreements (MSAs) and volume pricing frameworks that unlock multi-year purchasing efficiencies and protect margin through raw-material escalation clauses and currency hedging.
- • Provide mentorship to junior account executives and solutions architects, sharing battle-tested playbooks for navigating hyperscaler procurement gauntlets and AI workload benchmarking cycles.
- • Travel up to 50 % across North America and EMEA, maintaining a visible presence in customer data halls, design labs, and boardrooms. Leverage Bay Area proximity to host impromptu whiteboard sessions that compress sales cycles and deepen technical intimacy.
- • Champion Daikin’s sustainability mission by quantifying carbon-reduction outcomes for every proposal—translating kWh savings into Scope 2 emissions avoided and ESG score improvements that resonate with hyperscaler CSR committees.
