  • • Lead and develop Deliveroo Kuwait’s sales team, managing Team Leads and Business Development Managers to achieve aggressive partner acquisition targets.
  • • Develop and execute data-led sales strategies focused on accelerating new partner onboarding across Kuwait, including prioritization of geography, lead pools, sales headcount, and commercial enablers aligned with regional objectives.
  • • Conduct high-profile negotiations with major F&B groups and restaurant chains to secure partnerships and close supply gaps relative to competitors.
  • • Serve as the primary escalation point during complex sales negotiations, providing direct support and coaching to the sales team to overcome objections and finalize deals.
  • • Design and optimize sales processes to improve lead cycle times, enhance tracking tools, and strengthen reporting metrics for performance monitoring and operational efficiency.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and delivery experience across the platform.
  • • Analyze competitor activity and market dynamics to inform sales initiatives, identify new opportunities, and drive velocity in partner acquisition.
  • • Regularly report on sales performance, partner selection outcomes, and market trends to local management and senior stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • • Share best practices and regional learnings with global counterparts to standardize and improve sales execution across Deliveroo’s international markets.
  • • Mentor and coach direct reports to build a high-performing, self-sufficient sales team capable of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
  • • Maintain deep knowledge of the Kuwait restaurant industry to identify key players, understand market nuances, and tailor outreach strategies effectively.
  • • Align daily sales activities with broader commercial goals of Deliveroo and DoorDash, leveraging global resources and systems to maximize local impact.
  • • Drive continuous improvement in sales enablement tools, CRM usage, and data-driven decision-making to elevate team productivity and forecast accuracy.
  • • Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and results-driven performance within the Kuwait sales team.
  • • Represent Deliveroo in high-stakes commercial discussions with top-tier restaurant brands, maintaining the company’s reputation for innovation and partnership value.
  • • Proactively identify and address sales pipeline bottlenecks using analytical insights and team feedback to ensure consistent growth in partner count and revenue.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of sales experience, with 2+ years managing a team of 3+ direct reports
  • • Proven track record leading sales teams in high-growth environments
  • • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
  • • Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • • Previous experience in the Kuwait restaurant or F&B industry
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
