- • **Drive New Business Growth:** As a key member of our New Business team within the Go-To-Market organization, you will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospective partnerships that directly contribute to Column's revenue growth. This role is designed for a sharp, analytical, and proactive individual who thrives on deep market research, strategic outreach, and extracting valuable insights from every interaction. You will be at the forefront of building our Go-To-Market motion from its foundational stages, playing a critical role in shaping our growth trajectory.
- • **Engage with Sophisticated Clients:** You will collaborate closely with experienced Sales and Partnerships colleagues to cultivate relationships with a diverse range of sophisticated companies. This includes everything from stealth startups with groundbreaking ideas to established, innovative public companies seeking to enhance their financial offerings. Your ability to understand complex business models and articulate Column's value proposition will be paramount.
- • **Spearhead Top-of-Funnel Prospecting:** Your primary mandate will be to own and execute top-of-funnel prospecting efforts. This involves developing innovative outreach strategies, crafting highly personalized and compelling messaging, and directly engaging with key decision-makers within target organizations. You will be the initial point of contact for new prospects, setting the tone for their engagement with Column.
- • **Conduct In-Depth Market and Prospect Research:** A significant part of your role will involve conducting thorough market research to identify companies that can benefit from Column's unique banking services. You will build detailed profiles of potential partners, meticulously analyzing their business models, understanding their payment flows, and assessing potential risk considerations. This analytical rigor will ensure our outreach is targeted and effective.

- • **Shape Our GTM Infrastructure:** You will play a vital role in helping to shape the infrastructure and tooling that Column uses to manage outreach and lead generation. Your experience and ideas will directly contribute to building a scalable and efficient GTM engine.
- • **Report to Leadership:** This role reports directly to our Head of Sales and Partnerships, providing a clear line of sight to leadership and opportunities for mentorship and growth.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1.5+ years of post-college experience in a fast-paced, analytical role (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or a high-performing SDR/Sales role at a top tech company).
- • Proven track record of resourcefulness and self-direction in problem-solving, finding answers, and moving quickly; comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and navigating complex situations.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, tailored outbound messages and confidently handle initial prospect calls with C-suite executives.
- • Genuine interest in financial services, APIs, and infrastructure businesses; prior experience is a plus but not a strict requirement.
