- • Sell Cochlear’s implantable hearing solutions to hospitals, clinics, and medical specialists in the Bucaramanga region to drive business growth and meet territorial sales targets.
- • Develop and execute business plans to achieve volume and revenue goals through strategic account management and new center acquisition.
- • Identify commercial opportunities and customer needs to design value-driven sales strategies tailored to the Colombian healthcare system.
- • Manage key relationships with clinics, surgical teams, and healthcare administrators, including negotiation, documentation, and administrative coordination.
- • Participate in public tenders by preparing documentation, submitting proposals, and tracking procurement processes.
- • Provide surgical support during Cochlear implant procedures, including intraoperative testing and coordination of device logistics (preferred but not required).
- • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system and submit monthly sales reports with competitive analysis.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Concierge, Clinical, Finance, Operations, and Market Access to ensure seamless customer experience.
- • Attend and represent Cochlear at scientific conferences, industry events, and medical seminars to promote brand awareness and clinical adoption.
- • Build and sustain strong networks with ENT specialists, audiologists, and hospital decision-makers to generate patient referrals and expand market share.
- • Conduct field visits to hospitals and clinics, manage a dynamic schedule, and balance administrative tasks with on-site customer engagement.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of high-cost medical devices and clinical pathways within Colombia’s EPS/IPS healthcare framework.
- • Apply consultative sales methodologies including prospecting, value delivery, and closing techniques to drive long-term client partnerships.
- • Utilize CRM tools and commercial reporting systems to track performance, forecast sales, and align with regional objectives.
- • Maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate standards in all sales and clinical support activities.
- • Promote Cochlear’s mission of helping people hear and be heard by delivering exceptional service and clinical expertise to patients and providers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of experience selling medical devices or high-cost pharmaceuticals
- • Proven experience in public tender processes and bid preparation
- • Residency in Bucaramanga, Colombia
- • University degree in health-related fields (e.g., surgical instrumentation) or business/administration
- • Fluency in Spanish; English is desirable but not mandatory
- • Experience developing territories, opening key accounts, and increasing market share
