📋 Description

• This SAP Admin role is critical to maintaining the stability, performance, and security of mission-critical enterprise systems that support global sustainable development initiatives, ensuring uninterrupted operations for an international organization serving diverse stakeholders across time zones.
• The position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge SAP technologies in a complex, multinational environment while contributing to meaningful global outcomes through reliable system administration.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include performing SAP application installations, patches, upgrades, and production support across ECC, BI, SCM, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, and PI systems, ensuring system integrity and availability.
• Administering HANA databases with a focus on High Availability and replica configurations, including setup, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitoring and implementing Oracle/HANA database performance improvements through tuning, optimization, and proactive issue resolution to support seamless SAP operations.
• Executing client and system copies, new SAP instance installations, table reorganizations, and connectivity maintenance to support development, testing, and production lifecycle needs.
• Managing transport operations with strict adherence to documentation and change management procedures, ensuring traceability and compliance across landscape movements.
• Configuring and monitoring backup solutions, performing ad-hoc backups and restores as required to safeguard data integrity and meet recovery time objectives.
• Conducting SAP Security Administration involving role creation, user account management, and authorization assignments to enforce least-privilege access and compliance.
• Troubleshooting incidents, coordinating with SAP support, and providing technical guidance to development teams to minimize downtime and resolve complex technical challenges.
• The team operates within a prestigious international organization committed to diversity, inclusion, and sustainable development goals, managing complex SAP landscapes across virtualized environments for global initiatives.
• Collaboration occurs across multiple time zones with development, functional, and support teams, requiring strong communication and coordination skills in a distributed, enterprise-scale setting.
• The role provides deep exposure to large-scale, multi-platform SAP ecosystems including ECC, BO, BI, PI, Portal, Solman, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, TM, EM, GRC, Redwood, IDM, HANA, and NWDI, building rare and valuable end-to-end expertise.
• Professionals in this role can achieve mastery in SAP Basis and HANA administration while contributing to systems that power global humanitarian and development efforts, enhancing both technical proficiency and purpose-driven impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP and HANA Basis administration experience
• Extensive working experience with ECC, BO, BI, PI, Portal, Solman, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, TM, EM, GRC, Redwood, IDM, HANA, NWDI
• 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience with performance tuning capabilities
• 2+ years of Linux Operating Systems administration experience
• Deep understanding of SAP HANA enterprise DB, High Availability setup, configurations, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of SAP Security concepts and network fundamentals
• Experience with DB export/import techniques and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copy procedures
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure across multiple time zones
