📋 Description

• • As a Scientist in the Large Libraries team at Cradle Bio, you will drive the development of novel high-throughput screening capabilities to generate massive-scale datasets (>10^6 data points) that power the company’s AI/ML platform for protein design and optimization.
• • Day to day, you will develop and optimize cutting-edge workflows for protein library screening, build and execute in vitro and cell-based assay pipelines, design experimental frameworks for library construction and data generation, and establish statistically rigorous assays for ML model training.
• • Cradle Bio is an experienced team of ~75 people with offices in Zurich and Amsterdam, focused on building an AI-guided protein discovery platform used by clients across biopharma, biotech, agri-tech, food-tech, and academia, with strong funding and a commitment to inclusive, innovative culture.
• • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience shaping the scientific direction of a high-impact startup, lead projects from design to data delivery, collaborate with ML teams to integrate experimental outputs, and deepen your expertise in high-throughput protein engineering while contributing to real-world biotechnology advancements.
