- • Deep-dive into the SingleView Configuration layer and EPM (Enterprise Product Model) to extend rating rules, tariff plans, discount models, and taxation logic, ensuring 99.99 % uptime for both prepaid and post-paid billing cycles.
- • Translate complex business requirements from product owners and market analysts into elegant, scalable technical solutions—writing modular, reusable, and maintainable code in C/C++, Java, Perl, or SQL that can handle multi-million-record datasets without performance degradation.
- • Build and optimize SOAP-based integrations and RESTful micro-services that exchange real-time charging events with network elements (IN, OCS, PCRF), guaranteeing sub-second latency for online rating and balance management.
- • Author comprehensive unit tests (JUnit, CPPUnit, Perl Test::More) and support system, regression, and UAT test cycles; triage and fix defects across DEV, SIT, and PROD environments with minimal supervision, reducing mean-time-to-resolution by at least 30 %.
- • Debug hairy production incidents—memory leaks, race conditions, database deadlocks—leveraging Unix/Linux profilers, GDB, Oracle AWR reports, and log forensics to restore service within SLA and produce detailed post-mortems.
- • Participate actively in code reviews, enforcing CSG’s secure-coding guidelines (OWASP, MISRA) and performance best practices; mentor SDE-1 engineers through pair-programming and architecture walkthroughs, raising overall team code quality metrics.
- • Collaborate seamlessly with L2/L3 support, QA automation squads, and business analysts in a globally distributed, Agile/Scrum model; contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release retrospectives to keep velocity above 40 story points per sprint.
- • Champion continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible playbooks, automating build, test, and deployment pipelines for SingleView modules and reducing release cycle time from weeks to days.
- • Ensure strict adherence to telecom billing standards (3GPP, GSMA), data privacy regulations (GDPR, TRAI), and internal security policies; conduct threat-modeling sessions and static code scans to maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
- • Drive innovation by prototyping next-gen features such as real-time usage analytics, AI-driven revenue assurance, and cloud-native rating engines, presenting proof-of-concepts to senior leadership and influencing the product roadmap.
- • Contribute to knowledge repositories (Confluence, SharePoint) and run brown-bag sessions on advanced topics like Oracle partitioning strategies, Perl XS extensions, or Java low-latency programming, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- • Monitor production KPIs—call-detail-record throughput, invoice accuracy, payment collection rates—and proactively tune SQL queries, indexing strategies, and caching layers to keep customer satisfaction scores above 4.5/5.
