  • • As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) based in our Noida, India office, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise product. You will be at the core of every new feature, product decision, and user touchpoint, directly contributing to the success of our innovative platform.

  • • Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts. This involves a deep understanding of various testing methodologies, including regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and database testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage across our platform.
  • • You will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and efficient automation code, primarily using Python and Java, to validate the functionality and performance of our AI-powered customer engagement solutions.
  • • Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, identify potential risks, and define effective testing strategies.
  • • Execute manual and automated test cases, meticulously analyze test results, and effectively communicate defects and issues to the development team, providing clear and concise reports.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies, staying abreast of the latest advancements in QA and automation technologies.
  • • Explore and integrate AI-powered testing tools and techniques, such as Testim, Mabl, Cursor, Copilot, and leveraging tools like ChatGPT for test case generation, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • Develop and execute API tests using tools like Postman and Rest Assured to ensure seamless integration and data integrity across different system components.
  • • Utilize performance testing tools like JMeter to assess the scalability and responsiveness of our platform under various load conditions.
  • • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins to automate the testing and deployment processes.
  • • Perform thorough database testing, including SQL and MongoDB, to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • • Conduct comprehensive regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • • Engage in exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases that may not be covered by automated scripts.
  • • Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of quality within the engineering team.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven strong experience in building test automation for enterprise products, with a deep understanding of automation testing principles and best practices.
  • • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java for test script development.
  • • Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and Postman.
  • • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter.
  • • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and database testing (SQL, MongoDB).
