• In this highly impactful position, you will be instrumental in relentlessly pushing search quality forward. This will involve leveraging your expertise in machine learning models, sophisticated data analysis, innovative tooling, and any other available leverage to achieve state-of-the-art results.
• You will architect and build core components of our search platform and model stack. This includes designing and implementing the underlying infrastructure and algorithms that power our search capabilities, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and cutting-edge performance.
• A significant part of your role will involve training and evaluating a diverse range of machine learning models. This includes, but is not limited to, retrieval models, ranking models, and classification models, with a particular emphasis on large language models (LLMs) and their application in search.
• You will be responsible for deploying these models into production environments. This encompasses everything from fine-tuning smaller models for specific tasks to deploying and optimizing large-scale LLMs, ensuring they operate in a scalable and performant manner to serve millions of users.
• A key focus area will be building and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. Your work here will be crucial for grounding our AI-generated answers in factual information and enhancing the quality and relevance of the generated responses.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, AI Researchers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product Managers. This collaborative environment ensures fast, high-quality delivery of features and improvements that directly impact user experience and search effectiveness.
