Your expertise will directly contribute to protecting sensitive health data and ensuring the integrity of systems that influence patient behaviors and outcomes in clinical settings.
- • You will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive security strategies across enterprise systems, cloud environments, applications, and networks, embedding security into every layer of technology to defend against evolving cyber threats while enabling innovation.
- • Day to day, you will design and document secure architecture frameworks aligned with Zero Trust, Defense-in-Depth, and Secure-by-Design principles for cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- • You will develop and maintain identity and access management (IAM) strategies, including authentication, authorization, and least-privilege models, ensuring secure access across systems and applications.
- • You will collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines, advocating for DevSecOps practices and automated security testing.
- • You will identify security risks, conduct threat modeling, and develop mitigation strategies to protect enterprise assets while ensuring compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS standards.
- • You will design and implement network security architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAFs, and microsegmentation, and implement container security best practices for Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless environments.

- • You will act as a trusted security advisor to engineering, IT, product, and executive teams, providing guidance on digital transformation initiatives and enterprise IT projects.
- • You will mentor junior security engineers, conduct training sessions for technical and non-technical teams, and foster a strong security culture across the organization through clear communication and leadership.
- • You will collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure adherence to security policies and advocate for security assessment maturity in internally developed systems.
- • At PatientPoint, you will join a purpose-driven organization transforming healthcare through behavior-changing content delivered at critical moments of care in 30,000+ physician offices nationwide.
- • You will have the opportunity to grow your expertise in cutting-edge security domains such as AI/ML security, cloud-native protection, and zero-trust architectures while making a tangible impact on patient safety and data privacy in healthcare.
