- • Join 10a Labs as a Security Engineer and become the first line of defense for the world’s most advanced AI systems. You will work directly with AI unicorns, Fortune 10 enterprises, and U.S. tech leaders to safeguard models, data pipelines, and production deployments against novel threats.
- • Design and implement scalable detection engines that surface abuse patterns across text, image, audio, and multimodal inputs. Your code will process billions of inferences per month, flagging prompt-injection, data-exfiltration, model inversion, and other emerging attack vectors before they reach customers.
- • Lead end-to-end red-team engagements that simulate real-world adversaries. You will craft bespoke exploits, chain low-severity bugs into high-impact compromise scenarios, and present executive-ready briefings that shape product roadmaps and security budgets.
- • Build and maintain proprietary threat-intelligence pipelines that ingest open-source feeds, dark-web chatter, and multilingual sources. You will enrich raw indicators with context, attribution, and confidence scores, turning noise into actionable insight for both internal teams and external clients.
- • Automate everything. From CI/CD security gates to drift-detection in model weights, you will write Python, Go, or Rust tooling that reduces manual toil and accelerates incident response. Expect to ship daily, iterate weekly, and refactor ruthlessly.
- • Collaborate with ML researchers to embed security primitives directly into training loops. You will experiment with differential privacy, adversarial training, and secure multi-party computation, ensuring that safety is not an afterthought but a first-class feature.
- • Act as a trusted advisor during customer onboarding. You will translate complex technical findings into clear risk narratives, help clients prioritize remediation, and occasionally parachute into crisis bridges when zero-days drop at 2 a.m.
- • Contribute to the company’s public voice. Whether publishing CVEs, speaking at Black Hat, or releasing open-source tooling, you will help shape industry standards and cement 10a Labs as the definitive authority on AI security.
- • Mentor junior engineers and interns. You will run internal capture-the-flag events, review pull requests with empathy, and champion a culture where curiosity outranks ego.
- • Stay uncomfortably close to the cutting edge. You will monitor arXiv preprints, track regulatory shifts like the EU AI Act, and prototype defenses against threats that do not yet have names.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, including at least one year focused on AI/ML systems or large-scale data platforms.
- • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with a track record of shipping production-grade detection or automation tooling.
- • Deep understanding of modern attack techniques against machine-learning models (e.g., prompt injection, model inversion, data poisoning).
- • Experience conducting red-team exercises or purple-team collaborations, from scoping and threat-modeling through executive reporting.
- • Familiarity with cloud-native security controls on AWS, GCP, or Azure (IAM, KMS, network micro-segmentation, confidential compute).
- • Nice-to-have: published research, CVEs, or open-source contributions in AI security, threat intelligence, or related domains.
