đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Notable, a pioneering force in healthcare AI, and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and software development lifecycle. As a Security Operations Engineer, you will be instrumental in protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems, which are the backbone of our mission to transform workforce productivity in healthcare.
  • • You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of robust security controls across our cloud environments, primarily focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This includes developing and enforcing security best practices that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve building and maintaining secure network connections, specifically partner IPSec VPN connections, NAT configurations, and IP routing. You will leverage Infrastructure as Code principles, utilizing tools like Terraform, to ensure these network security elements are provisioned, managed, and documented efficiently and securely.
  • • Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks by conducting thorough threat modeling exercises. This involves analyzing system architectures, identifying potential attack vectors, and recommending appropriate countermeasures to prevent breaches and vulnerabilities.
  • • You will manage and configure our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, ensuring that access controls are precisely defined, consistently enforced, and regularly reviewed. This includes implementing the principle of least privilege and managing user roles and permissions across various platforms and services.
  • • Conduct regular auditing and monitoring of our systems and applications to ensure adherence to established security policies, internal standards, and external regulations. This involves setting up alerts, analyzing security logs, and responding to any deviations or potential compliance issues.
  • • Implement and refine Data Loss Prevention (DLP) techniques and technologies to safeguard sensitive patient and company data. This includes defining policies, monitoring data flows, and implementing controls to prevent unauthorized exfiltration or exposure of critical information.
  • • Analyze security logs and other security-related data from various sources to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner. You will be part of the incident response process, contributing to containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
  • • Collaborate closely with our software development teams to embed security throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This involves providing security guidance, conducting security reviews of code and architecture, and promoting a security-first mindset among engineers.
  • • Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards for our engineering teams. This ensures a consistent and high level of security awareness and practice across the organization.
  • • Stay abreast of the latest emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Continuously research and evaluate new security tools and techniques to enhance our overall security posture and adapt to the evolving threat landscape.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security operations capabilities, identifying areas for automation, efficiency gains, and enhanced threat detection and response.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing company that is fundamentally changing the healthcare industry. You will be working with a talented and passionate team dedicated to improving patient lives and healthcare outcomes.
  • • Your work will directly contribute to the security and trustworthiness of our AI platform, ensuring that our clients can rely on us to handle sensitive healthcare data with the utmost care and protection.
  • • We foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, providing you with the resources and support needed to excel in your role and grow your career.
  • • You will be an integral part of a mission-driven organization, where your contributions are valued and directly align with our goal of impacting 100 million patients worldwide.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Security Operations Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, or similar role.
  • • Proven hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including their security services and configurations.
  • • Demonstrated experience in threat modeling, Identity and Access Management (IAM) system configuration, security auditing and monitoring, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) techniques and implementation, and log analytics.
  • • Solid understanding of network engineering concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and VPN technologies (specifically IPSec VPN).
  • • Proficiency in Linux system administration, including experience with Bash scripting and managing Ubuntu environments.
  • • Some coding or scripting ability in languages such as Python, Node.js, or TypeScript, for automation and tool development.
