• • As a Security Engineer specializing in Application Security at WRITER, you will be instrumental in architecting and implementing robust security measures for our cutting-edge AI platform, safeguarding the sensitive data and proprietary technologies that power leading global enterprises.
• • This role places you at the forefront of innovation, working at the critical intersection of application security, advanced AI infrastructure, and developer enablement, ensuring that security is not an afterthought but an integral component of our product development lifecycle.
• • You will collaborate closely with diverse engineering teams, embedding security best practices and controls into every stage of software development, from initial design to deployment and ongoing maintenance, thereby fostering a culture of security-by-design.
• • Your primary objective will be to define and evolve the security posture of enterprise AI applications, a rapidly developing field where novel challenges and opportunities abound.
• • This includes conducting comprehensive threat modeling exercises specifically tailored to our Large Language Model (LLM) architectures and AI agent frameworks, anticipating potential attack vectors and developing proactive defense strategies.
• • You will be responsible for building and scaling automated security controls that seamlessly integrate into our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that vulnerabilities are identified and remediated efficiently and effectively before they can impact production environments.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve championing secure coding standards and best practices across the engineering organization, developing reusable security patterns, libraries, and tools that empower developers to build secure applications by default, thereby enhancing both security and development velocity.
• • You will play a pivotal role in designing and recommending innovative security features and products that not only protect WRITER's platform but also enhance the security of our customers' environments, acting as a key advocate and visionary for customer security.
• • Furthermore, you will explore and integrate AI agents to augment the capabilities of the security team and the broader engineering organization, aiming to proactively minimize risk and enhance operational efficiency in our product development efforts.
• • Leading security assessments, including in-depth penetration testing of WRITER's applications, AI services, and APIs, will be a core responsibility, requiring you to identify vulnerabilities across our entire technology stack and collaborate with relevant teams to implement scalable remediation strategies.
• • You will design and implement critical security controls specifically for protecting data pipelines, the environments used for model training, and the customer-facing AI agents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all data and processes.
• • A crucial element of this role is staying abreast of the rapidly evolving threat landscape in AI/ML security, conducting research into emerging attack vectors unique to LLMs and generative AI, and proactively developing and deploying defenses against these novel risks.
