  • • Join Cyderes, a leader in cybersecurity solutions, and contribute to our mission of helping the world 'Be Everyday Ready™'. In today's rapidly evolving threat landscape, our team is dedicated to providing cutting-edge security services, including practical Identity and Access Management (IAM), comprehensive exposure management, and robust risk programs. We excel at stopping active threats swiftly with our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) capabilities, which seamlessly integrate with existing security tools and are enhanced by AI and driven by experienced operators. Our global team is relentlessly focused on cybersecurity, equipping organizations with the essential people, platforms, and perspectives needed to navigate and overcome future challenges.
  • • As a Security Engineer within our Managed Services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional day-to-day operational support, providing essential engineering oversight, and driving continuous improvement across our diverse clients' cloud security environments. This position demands a 'security first' mindset, a high degree of accountability, and a genuine passion for customer success, automation, and innovation.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our clients' cloud security infrastructure. This involves actively monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential threats. You will be instrumental in architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-native security solutions, ensuring they align with best practices and client-specific requirements.
  • • You will be expected to engage directly with clients, understanding their unique security challenges and providing expert guidance and solutions. This includes conducting security assessments, recommending enhancements, and implementing security controls across various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations will be crucial for client satisfaction and trust.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging automation to streamline security operations and reduce manual effort. You will identify opportunities for scripting and automation to enhance efficiency in tasks such as vulnerability management, incident response, and security configuration. Developing and maintaining automation tools and frameworks will be a key contribution.
  • • You will be responsible for the engineering and operational management of cloud security technologies, including but not limited to Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools, Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This includes configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and ensuring the effective integration of these tools.
  • • Proactive threat hunting and incident response will be a core function. You will participate in the investigation of security alerts and incidents, performing deep-dive analysis to determine root causes, scope of impact, and recommend remediation actions. Your ability to act swiftly and decisively under pressure is paramount.
  • • You will contribute to the development and refinement of security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments. This includes staying abreast of the latest cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and translating this knowledge into practical security measures.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with internal teams, including SOC analysts, incident responders, and client account managers, to ensure a cohesive and effective security posture for our clients. Sharing knowledge and best practices across the team will foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide array of cloud technologies and security challenges, providing significant opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be at the forefront of cloud security innovation, helping to shape the future of our managed security services.
  • • We are looking for individuals who are not only technically proficient but also possess strong communication skills, a problem-solving aptitude, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. If you are passionate about cloud security and eager to make a tangible impact, we encourage you to apply.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong understanding of security principles and best practices across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as CSPM, CWPP, SIEM, WAF, and IAM solutions.
  • • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform) for security tasks.
  • • Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and common security vulnerabilities.
  • • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • • Opportunities for professional development, certifications, and continuous learning.
  • • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • • Collaborative and innovative work environment with a focus on employee growth.
