- • Fluidstack is at the forefront of building the essential infrastructure for the age of abundant intelligence, partnering with leading AI labs, governments, and enterprises to deliver compute power at unprecedented speeds. Our mission is to accelerate the realization of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), and we are assembling a team of highly motivated individuals dedicated to creating world-class infrastructure. We are deeply committed to our customers' success, taking immense pride in the systems we develop and the trust we cultivate. If you are driven by a profound purpose, possess an unwavering obsession with excellence, and are prepared to dedicate significant effort to advancing the future of intelligence, we invite you to join us in shaping what comes next.
- • As the Security Lead for Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust physical and logical security frameworks across Fluidstack's expansive and distributed data center footprint. This critical position involves establishing stringent security standards for the buildout of new facilities, spearheading the design and deployment of secure networking infrastructure, meticulously overseeing the security requirements for all vendors and contractors, and ensuring unwavering compliance with all regulatory mandates and customer-specific obligations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to seamlessly integrate security principles into every facet of Fluidstack's GPU cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling the company's secure and scalable growth, empowering us to defend our AI infrastructure against even the most sophisticated global adversaries.
- • A core focus of this role will be the proactive development and refinement of security processes and policies designed to scale effectively in tandem with Fluidstack's rapid and ongoing infrastructure expansion. You will lead critical network security engineering initiatives, providing both expert consultation and hands-on implementation support to the infrastructure teams, ensuring the integrity and security of our network architecture.
- • You will be responsible for the comprehensive design and ongoing maintenance of security frameworks that span Fluidstack's diverse and distributed infrastructure, ensuring a consistent and high level of protection across all sites. This includes developing and leading the implementation of security system standards that adhere to stringent requirements, such as those mandated by the US Department of Defense (DoD) and other relevant international security protocols.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve driving and consulting on cross-functional data center architecture and operational strategies. This encompasses close collaboration with teams responsible for infrastructure deployment, day-to-day operations, technical support, and other critical functions, ensuring security is a foundational element in all decisions.
- • Furthermore, you will be tasked with driving strategic alignment across various security functions, ensuring their seamless integration and effective operation within all aspects of data center operations. This requires a holistic view of security, from physical access controls to the most advanced cyber defenses, all working in concert to protect our valuable AI assets.
- • This role demands a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape, particularly at the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), where critical infrastructure is increasingly interconnected. You will leverage your extensive experience with both physical and logical security technologies and a proven track record of working with leading security vendors to implement best-in-class solutions.
- • Ultimately, you will be the guardian of Fluidstack's infrastructure security, ensuring the resilience, integrity, and confidentiality of our cutting-edge AI compute resources as we continue to scale and innovate in this rapidly advancing field.
