  • • As a Senior Account Director at Coupa, you will be instrumental in driving significant growth and expansion within our existing customer base. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on building deep, strategic relationships with enterprise clients and uncovering opportunities to further embed Coupa's comprehensive spend management solutions into their operations.
  • • You will be the primary owner of your assigned accounts, responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans that align with Coupa's growth objectives and the evolving business needs of our customers. This involves a proactive approach to understanding their challenges, identifying key stakeholders, and mapping Coupa's value proposition to their specific pain points and strategic priorities.
  • • A core aspect of your role will be to maintain and strengthen executive-level sponsorship within your accounts. This requires consistent engagement with C-suite executives and senior leadership, demonstrating Coupa's ongoing value and identifying new avenues for partnership and innovation.
  • • You will work collaboratively with our Customer Value Managers (CVMs), Professional Services, and other customer-facing teams to ensure a unified and exceptional customer experience. This cross-functional partnership is essential for identifying expansion opportunities, driving adoption, and maximizing customer lifetime value.
  • • Your expertise will be crucial in identifying, articulating, and closing complex cross-sell and upsell opportunities. This involves understanding the full breadth of Coupa's platform and services, and effectively communicating how additional modules and capabilities can address new or emerging customer needs, thereby driving profitable growth.
  • • You will be responsible for forecasting, pipeline management, and achieving ambitious sales targets for your assigned accounts. This requires meticulous planning, diligent follow-up, and a data-driven approach to sales execution.
  • • Developing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs and strategic objectives of each client will be a key responsibility. You will need to articulate the ROI and business impact of Coupa's solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and advancements in spend management technology is essential. This knowledge will enable you to position Coupa effectively and provide strategic guidance to your clients.
  • • You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, building long-term partnerships based on mutual success and a deep understanding of their business. Your ability to anticipate their future needs and proactively offer solutions will be a key differentiator.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, specifically in account management and expansion within existing customer accounts.
  • • Deep understanding of the procure-to-pay process and business spend management solutions.
  • • Strong executive presence and experience building relationships with C-level stakeholders.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • • Fluency in German and English is required for this role based in Germany.
