  • As a Senior Account Manager, you will be entrusted with the full strategic ownership of a portfolio of Upvest’s most prestigious clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure their sustained success and satisfaction, acting as the architect of enduring partnerships. This role transcends traditional account management; you will be instrumental in helping our clients fully leverage the capabilities of our Investment API, driving significant commercial value and fostering innovation within their organizations. You will navigate intricate organizational landscapes, develop bespoke account strategies, and serve as the primary advocate for your clients within the Upvest ecosystem, ensuring their needs and feedback are integrated into our product development and strategic direction.
  • This position is inherently strategic and commercially driven. You will cultivate high-level relationships with key decision-makers and C-suite executives, moving beyond routine operational matters to proactively identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities. A critical aspect of your role will be to ensure our product roadmap remains closely aligned with the evolving business objectives and strategic imperatives of our clients. You will act as the crucial bridge between the technical intricacies of our API and the tangible business value it delivers, employing your natural charisma, exceptional communication skills, and deep domain expertise to manage high-stakes client engagements with confidence and foresight.
  • Joining the Client Impact department means becoming part of a high-performing team dedicated to delivering sustainable value to our clients daily. You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Growth, Legal, and Compliance teams, ensuring a cohesive and effective client experience. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping Upvest’s trajectory as the market leader in investment infrastructure.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and owning comprehensive strategic success plans for a dedicated portfolio of priority enterprise and fintech clients, focusing on long-term retention, deep engagement, and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Proactively driving commercial growth by identifying, nurturing, and executing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities that directly address client needs and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Navigating complex organizational structures within large financial institutions and fintechs to effectively influence key decision-makers and C-level stakeholders, building consensus and driving strategic alignment.
  • Serving as a trusted strategic advisor, cultivating a profound understanding of your clients’ business models, market challenges, and growth aspirations to empower them in scaling their investment offerings.
  • Expertly managing high-stakes negotiations and complex contract renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes that strengthen the partnership and secure long-term commitments.
  • Collaborating closely with Product and Growth teams to effectively relay critical market feedback, competitive intelligence, and client insights, thereby ensuring Upvest remains at the forefront of innovation in Investment API infrastructure.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for your clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust, transparency, and proactive communication.
  • Monitoring client health and performance metrics, identifying potential risks or challenges early, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure continued success.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our account management processes and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the wider team.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments within the European fintech and investment landscape to provide informed guidance to clients and Upvest.
  • Championing the Upvest mission and values internally and externally, representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Contributing to Upvest's growth and success as a shareholder, embodying the company's entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.
