📋 Description

  • As a Senior Account Manager within Real Chemistry's Medical Affairs team, you will be the pivotal day-to-day contact for our clients, cultivating strong relationships and expertly managing their expectations of our agency's capabilities and deliverables.
  • You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within your account team, guaranteeing that all members are informed and effectively executing their responsibilities to achieve client objectives.
  • This role demands a forward-thinking approach, requiring you to not only manage current project demands but also to proactively identify and nurture future opportunities for client engagement and growth.
  • You will take ownership of medium to large-scale client projects, meticulously overseeing their execution from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered to the highest possible standards, within budget, and adhering strictly to agreed-upon timelines.
  • A core responsibility involves managing the intricate processes of your assigned accounts. This includes orchestrating regular internal team meetings, overseeing the flow of work, delegating tasks effectively, and diligently tracking the status of all jobs across the account, not just those directly assigned to you.
  • You will maintain continuous and transparent communication with your account lead, providing regular updates on project progress, promptly alerting them to any potential barriers or challenges, and proactively proposing well-reasoned recommendations and solutions to ensure smooth project advancement.
  • A deep understanding of the client's business priorities, coupled with a solid grasp of the overarching program strategy, is essential. You will also be expected to maintain a keen awareness of competitor activities and market dynamics within the pharmaceutical and biotech landscape.
  • Staying ahead of the curve is crucial; you will be expected to continuously keep abreast of emerging trends, scientific advancements, and evolving developments within the medical communications and pharmaceutical industries.
  • You will play an active role in identifying areas for account growth, whether through the evolution of existing programs or the introduction of new, innovative tactics. These insights and ideas will be proactively shared with your team and presented to the client.
  • A proactive stance on new business development is encouraged. You will be expected to flag relevant agency experience and areas of interest, contribute innovative thoughts and ideas, and actively assist in the preparation of credentials and compelling pitch presentations.
  • You will develop and maintain a general understanding of account finances, supporting your account lead in the effective financial management of projects and client budgets.
  • Contribute to new business initiatives by supporting research efforts, brainstorming innovative ideas, and participating in pitch presentations as required, showcasing the agency's value proposition.

  • BA or equivalent work experience is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in healthcare agency client services roles with medical affairs, publications, and/or medical information experience required.
