This fully remote position, based in the United States, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, global organization at the forefront of customer success technology.
  • • In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in executing core accounting activities, including the meticulous preparation of journal entries, comprehensive account reconciliations, and efficient month-end close procedures. Your contributions will directly impact the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including in-depth flux analyses.
  • • A significant aspect of this position involves supporting complex accounting areas. You will assist in the monthly accounting and detailed reconciliations for commissions, working closely with dedicated compensation teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • • You will also be responsible for preparing and supporting the monthly and quarterly accounting for critical transactions involving debt, capitalized software development costs, intangible assets, and various equity instruments, requiring a strong grasp of technical accounting principles.
  • • A key focus will be on identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement. You will proactively seek ways to enhance accounting processes, streamline systems, and improve the overall scalability of financial operations, contributing to greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to technical accounting research. You will perform in-depth research on accounting disclosures and complex transactions, prepare authoritative accounting memos, conclude on accounting positions for new standards and transactions, and develop and maintain robust accounting policies in strict accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • • You will contribute significantly to merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, collaborating closely with the accounting team, deals team, valuation specialists, and business operations to ensure seamless accounting integrations and accurate purchase accounting.
  • • Maintaining a strong internal control environment is paramount. You will assist in monitoring and assessing risks associated with current and new financial transactions and processes, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential issues.
  • • A crucial responsibility will be collaborating with external auditors. This includes preparing detailed support for audit requests, responding to audit queries, and effectively managing audit timelines and status updates for both financial statement and statutory audits.
  • • You will lead the preparation of the annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring all related disclosures and supporting documentation are accurate and complete.
  • • Facilitating and supporting tax advisors will be another key function, assisting with corporate tax returns, the tax provision process, and other statutory and compliance filings for both domestic and international entities.
  • • The role also involves managing and maintaining the capitalization table and all related records for equity and equity-related instruments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • • You will actively participate in ad-hoc projects, system enhancements, and automation initiatives aimed at improving the accuracy, efficiency, and overall quality of financial reporting, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
