• • As a Senior AI Agent Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in a fast-moving, highly technical team focused on embedding sophisticated AI agents into a large-scale rental management SaaS platform. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional chatbot development and build autonomous business logic agents that drive critical functionalities.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to design, architect, and ship production-grade AI agents capable of executing complex autonomous business logic across operational, financial, and logistics workflows. These agents will have a direct and measurable impact on revenue optimization, asset utilization, financial automation, and overall operational efficiency within the platform.
• • The rental and inventory management platform you will be working with is comprehensive, handling multi-location inventory and rental assets, managing contracts, billing, and financial operations, optimizing depot balancing and asset allocation, automating accounts receivable workflows, powering e-commerce storefronts and customer portals, and facilitating API-driven integrations across various internal systems.
• • Specifically, your agents will be tasked with sophisticated functions such as automatically listing equipment for sale based on ML-driven utilization and revenue signals, forecasting revenue and demand patterns with high accuracy, optimizing depot balancing decisions to ensure efficient asset distribution, automating accounts receivable and billing workflows to streamline financial processes, wrapping and integrating classical ML models (particularly those built with scikit-learn) into backend decision pipelines, and ensuring all agents operate reliably and consistently under real-world production constraints.
• • This is a senior role demanding a high degree of ownership and autonomy. You will not be assigned granular tickets; instead, you will be given feature-level goals and are expected to take full responsibility for architecting, building, and shipping end-to-end production systems. This requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to drive projects from conception to deployment.
• • Our development process is at the forefront of innovation, utilizing an AI-assisted Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We deeply integrate large language models like Anthropic Claude and OpenAI into our workflow. Developers in this role will act as architects, leveraging AI to generate significant portions of code, then meticulously validating, refining, and productionizing this AI-generated code. Ensuring system reliability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices is crucial, requiring a strong understanding of both AI capabilities and robust software engineering principles.

Working within our established AI-assisted development workflow, leveraging tools like Claude and OpenAI, is a core requirement. This includes performing live debugging, rigorous system validation, and continuous production iteration to enhance agent performance and stability.
