• • As a Senior AI Engineer at Doctronic AI, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission to make healthcare free and accessible to everyone through cutting-edge artificial intelligence. You will help scale the company’s AI doctor platform—already handling millions of monthly consultations—to serve billions of patients while maintaining the highest standards of medical safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes by enabling faster, more reliable, and equitable access to medical guidance.
• • Day to day, you will design and implement multi-agent consensus architectures where specialized AI models collaborate and debate complex medical cases before reaching conclusions, ensuring robust and accurate diagnostic reasoning. You will build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines that ingest and process thousands of clinical guidelines for real-time LLM consumption, enhancing the model’s medical knowledge base. You will lead fine-tuning and model distillation efforts to create efficient, high-performance AI systems capable of handling millions of monthly medical consultations with low latency. You will develop real-time inference systems optimized for scale, reliability, and safety in production environments, including fail-safe mechanisms and emergency detection layers that trigger sub-second escalation to human oversight when critical risks are identified. You will engineer clinical data infrastructure, including HIPAA-compliant NLP pipelines that extract structured patient data from conversations, QHIN integrations for automated EHR data retrieval and reconciliation, and intelligent triage systems that dynamically route patients between AI and human providers based on clinical need. You will also contribute to voice and video AI interfaces, multilingual medical NLP models, predictive health modeling tools, and the foundational infrastructure supporting the next billion patient interactions.
• • You will join an engineering-first organization with a flat hierarchy, where senior engineers report directly to the CEO and enjoy significant autonomy in shaping technical direction and product outcomes. There are no project managers—ownership is end-to-end, from interpreting minimal specifications to deploying and monitoring features in production.
