- • Senior AI/ML Engineer at Dressly (Skelar AS) will be a key player in developing the flagship AI Stylist product, driving innovation in personalized fashion technology and positioning themselves to lead the AI team as the company scales.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and researching AI models for Virtual Try-On and outfit generation, designing system architecture with the team, optimizing model inference performance and infrastructure costs, building data pipelines for fashion and user preference data, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with product teams to translate technical capabilities into user-facing features.
- • Dressly, backed by venture builder Skelar AS, is a fast-growing fashion tech startup that has grown 4x in the last six months and plans 5x growth by 2026, with proven user traction in AI-powered features like Virtual Try-On, Color, Body, and Outfit Analysis.
- • The role offers a clear growth path from Senior to Lead AI/ML Engineer, the opportunity to shape the technical vision of AI Stylist, influence product direction, gain end-to-end business insight from R&D to feature launch, and work closely with designers, marketers, and founders in a mission-driven, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of hands-on experience in ML/AI with a proven track record of deploying models into production.
- • Deep understanding of the GenAI ecosystem, including LLM architectures, fine-tuning techniques, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), beyond just API usage.
- • Experience in Computer Vision or Recommendation Systems, particularly with generative image models (e.g., Virtual Try-On) or building personalized recommendation systems.
- • Strong engineering mindset: solid grasp of underlying mathematics and ability to build reliable data pipelines and ML services.
- • Pragmatic, business-focused approach: ability to evaluate build vs. buy decisions based on time-to-market and cost-efficiency.
- • Proactive ownership mindset: takes initiative, drives results without waiting for direction, and has ambitions to grow into a technical leadership role.
