- • Own the end-to-end technical vision for AI-enhanced product capabilities across Mitratech’s HR, Legal, and Risk SaaS portfolio, serving 20,000+ corporations and 50,000+ users in 150+ countries.
- • Architect, prototype, and productionize AI-driven features—ranging from intelligent document classification and predictive risk scoring to conversational assistants—that materially improve how Fortune 10 and Fortune 500 customers manage compliance, immigration, and workforce operations.
- • Serve as the subject-matter expert and “force multiplier” who evangelizes AI-assisted development practices across engineering squads, mentoring peers on prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and responsible AI governance.
- • Partner with Product Management, UX, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders to translate complex regulatory requirements into elegant, AI-powered user experiences that reduce manual effort by 30–60%.
- • Establish and maintain a reusable, secure, and scalable AI platform layer (APIs, micro-services, vector stores, MLOps pipelines) that accelerates feature delivery from months to weeks.
- • Continuously benchmark emerging LLMs, embedding models, and cloud AI services (OpenAI, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex) to ensure Mitratech remains at the cutting edge while controlling cost and latency.
- • Champion data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards—designing systems that comply with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and customer-specific data-residency mandates.
- • Instrument AI features with robust telemetry and A/B experimentation frameworks, translating usage metrics into actionable insights that drive roadmap prioritization and demonstrate ROI to executive leadership.
- • Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services to pilot new AI capabilities in live customer environments, iterating rapidly based on real-world feedback and measurable KPIs.
- • Contribute to Mitratech’s external thought-leadership by publishing technical blogs, speaking at industry conferences, and participating in open-source AI communities, thereby elevating our employer brand and attracting top talent.
- • Balance hands-on coding (60%) with strategic planning and mentorship (40%), ensuring the team scales sustainably while maintaining engineering excellence.
- • Foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous improvement, and transparent communication—embodying Mitratech’s values of proactivity, collaboration, and commitment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of full-stack or backend software engineering experience with at least 2 years shipping AI/ML features in production SaaS environments.
- • Expert-level proficiency in Python or TypeScript and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud AI stack (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex).
- • Demonstrated ability to design secure, multi-tenant AI services that handle sensitive PII and comply with SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA.
- • Nice-to-have: Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, AI, or related field; experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), and MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow).
