If so, Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc., through Hire Hangar, is seeking a Senior Amazon FBA E-commerce Manager (Store Owner / Operator) to lead a critical initiative from our remote US time zone-aligned positions.
• • This is not just another e-commerce role; it's an opportunity to step into the shoes of a store owner, taking full, end-to-end responsibility for an existing Amazon FBA business. We are looking for a self-starter, an independent operator who has navigated the entire Amazon FBA lifecycle multiple times and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Your mission will be to reboot and fully own the performance of an existing Amazon store, driving significant growth and profitability. Initially, you will be the hands-on driving force, meticulously managing every aspect of the business. As success is achieved, there is a clear pathway and exciting opportunity to build and lead a small, dedicated team to further amplify your impact and the store's reach.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the complete Amazon FBA ecosystem. This begins with rigorous product research and category analysis, where your sharp business acumen will be paramount in identifying high-potential products and categories. You'll evaluate opportunities based on critical factors such as healthy margins, robust demand, competitive landscape, and operational feasibility. Once winning products are identified, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing strong relationships with suppliers, whether they are vendors, wholesalers, or manufacturers. This includes skillful negotiation of pricing, payment terms, and ensuring reliable supply chains to support growth.
• • Crafting compelling and high-converting product listings will be a core function. This involves directing the creation of persuasive copy, providing clear briefs for creative assets like images and videos, and developing A+ content that captivates customers. A deep understanding of Amazon SEO principles will be essential to ensure maximum visibility. Furthermore, you will architect and execute a dynamic pricing strategy, leveraging promotions effectively to drive sales while maintaining profitability. Strategic inventory planning and replenishment are critical to avoid costly stockouts and minimize overstock situations, ensuring optimal cash flow and customer satisfaction.
• • Overseeing the intricate FBA operations is a key component of this role. This includes managing inbound shipments, inventory levels within Amazon's fulfillment network, and ensuring compliance with all FBA policies. Where necessary, you will also coordinate workflows for FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) operations, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, or external warehouses, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain regardless of the fulfillment method. Continuous performance monitoring is non-negotiable. You will meticulously track key metrics such as sales volume, advertising cost of sales (ACoS) and total advertising cost of sales (TACoS), contribution margin, and inventory health. Based on this data-driven analysis, you will proactively identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives to enhance performance across all facets of the business. This role demands a proactive, analytical, and results-oriented individual ready to take ownership and drive substantial growth within the Amazon marketplace.
