📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact data models that power strategic decisions for 600,000+ SME customers across Europe. You will design, build, and maintain dimensional models in DBT that feed acquisition, attribution, and marketing analytics, ensuring every dataset is trustworthy, discoverable, and actively used by Business Analytics teams.
• • Act as the go-to data modeling consultant for 25+ data analysts, translating complex business questions into scalable, performant SQL and DBT code. You will run discovery sessions, challenge requirements, and provide best-practice guidance that raises the analytical maturity of the entire organization.
• • Reduce technical debt across our 1,200+ model DBT project by refactoring legacy pipelines, implementing incremental strategies, and enforcing testing and documentation standards. Your work will directly improve pipeline reliability and cut compute costs, freeing budget for new strategic initiatives.
• • Lead month-long, cross-team projects from initial scoping through delivery and impact measurement. Example: rebuild the multi-touch attribution model to support real-time marketing spend optimization, collaborating with Growth, Product, and Finance stakeholders in Paris, Barcelona, and Berlin.
• • Champion data quality and governance by embedding dbt tests, data contracts, and semantic layer standards. You will mentor analysts on writing performant SQL, review pull requests, and curate the internal analytics catalog so that every metric is traceable to source systems.
• • Experiment daily with AI-assisted development—using co-pilots for code generation, automated documentation, and anomaly detection—to unlock 30%+ productivity gains and evolve the Analytics Engineering craft inside Qonto.
• • Participate in daily stand-ups with the eight-person Analytics Engineering squad and weekly syncs with Business Analytics leadership to align on priorities, share learnings, and continuously raise the technical bar.
• • Shape the 2025 roadmap that scales our data platform from supporting 600k customers today to 500k active SMEs tomorrow, influencing tooling choices, architectural patterns, and team ways of working.
