• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and impactful. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to meticulously scope and architect innovative Appian solutions, ensuring they not only meet but exceed our client's expectations and align perfectly with their evolving business needs. • • You will take the lead in guiding scrum teams, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions by adhering strictly to agile methodologies. As an integral member of a software delivery team, you will actively contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions, leveraging your expertise to drive project success.

You will guide and develop Junior Appian Developers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster their growth and enhance the overall capabilities of the team. • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software development, with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience leading software development teams specifically focused on Appian implementations. Your resume should demonstrate a proven ability and prior experience in database management and system integration, showcasing your capacity to connect disparate systems seamlessly.
• • You should also have between 2 to 4 years of overall experience in software development engagements, with a strong preference for Appian-centric projects. Familiarity and practical experience working within an Agile development environment are essential, enabling you to adapt quickly to project changes and contribute effectively to iterative development cycles.
• • To truly stand out, candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills, facilitating clear and concise interactions with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Advanced database knowledge is highly valued, including the ability to analyze tables and views, work with stored procedures, triggers, functions, and understand execution plans.
• • Appian Level 2 certification, coupled with Scrum Training and proficiency in SQL, performance tools, and automation testing, will significantly enhance your candidacy. We are looking for associates who possess a superior level of experience in requirement discovery, data modeling, and the design and build of Business Process Management (BPM) applications, with the capability to execute these activities independently.
• • The ability to architect solutions on a small-scale project, demonstrating mastery of all tools from previous levels, along with expertise in plugins, external systems, and APIs, is a key differentiator. Strong mentorship skills are essential, as you will be guiding junior developers.
• • You will be expected to deliver insightful code reviews, propose alternative solutions that enhance efficiency, technical scalability, and functional scalability, and assess how created/updated Appian objects and pull requests integrate into the broader project architecture. Identifying major logic errors and suggesting opportunities for refactoring will be a core part of your contribution.
• • Furthermore, you will provide constructive reviews to help implement better alternatives and actively influence our coding guidelines based on your extensive experience, contributing to the continuous improvement of our development practices.
• • This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $127,000, with the final offer determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and competencies.
