- • Senior Application Security Engineer role focused on owning and building the application security practice at Fabric Health, a mission-driven healthcare technology company improving clinical capacity through intelligent automation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with engineering teams to embed security throughout the SDLC, conducting security-focused code reviews, leading threat modeling and penetration testing, implementing SAST/DAST tooling in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST, and driving security education and incident response.

- • In this role, you will shape how a fast-growing company approaches application security, build guardrails and automation that enable safe velocity, deepen expertise in healthcare-specific security risks, and grow as a trusted security partner to engineering teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in application security with hands-on experience in security assessments, penetration testing, and secure code review
- • Proficiency in at least one language in Fabric's stack: Ruby, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar
- • Experience integrating SAST and DAST tooling into CI/CD pipelines
- • Deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and common application vulnerabilities
- • Experience with threat modeling methodologies
- • Familiarity with cloud security in AWS environments
