• • As a Senior Applied AI Engineer specializing in Audio, you will play a pivotal role in the entire lifecycle of our cutting-edge audio deepfake detection models. This is a dynamic, client-facing position that demands close collaboration with our Research, Production Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure our solutions are not only effective but also seamlessly integrated into client environments. Your responsibilities will extend beyond model development to encompass ensuring the robustness, reliability, and optimal performance of these models under a wide array of real-world conditions, including challenging adversarial and edge-case scenarios.
• • You will be instrumental in designing, building, and meticulously optimizing Machine Learning and Deep Learning models specifically for production-scale audio deepfake detection. This involves a deep dive into the intricacies of audio signal processing and the development of sophisticated algorithms capable of identifying subtle anomalies indicative of synthetic media.
• • A key aspect of this role involves direct engagement with clients. You will build a profound understanding of their unique production environments, challenges, and operational workflows. This client-centric approach will enable you to accurately scope model performance criteria, ensuring our solutions align perfectly with their specific needs and expectations.
• • You will be tasked with thoroughly investigating any failure cases encountered within client deployments. This investigative work will involve developing custom evaluation frameworks tailored to specific client contexts and implementing effective mitigation strategies that draw upon expertise from both our Engineering and AI disciplines.
• • Driving continuous model tuning and iteration will be crucial. You will focus on enhancing model performance across a diverse range of real-world conditions, such as varying levels of compression artifacts, background noise, telephony transmission, and different streaming pipeline characteristics. This ensures our models remain effective regardless of the audio input quality or transmission method.
• • You will be responsible for designing and executing structured experimentation roadmaps. These roadmaps will be strategically centered around evolving client requirements, anticipating future attack vectors employed by malicious actors, and proactively building system resilience against emerging threats.
• • Close collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Applied Scientists, Deployment Engineers, and Product teams, is essential for the successful deployment of robust, scalable, and maintainable AI models. This collaborative effort ensures a holistic approach to product development and deployment.
• • A significant part of your role will involve presenting complex technical findings and detailed model performance insights. These presentations will be delivered to both external clients, helping them understand the efficacy and capabilities of our solutions, and internal stakeholders, informing strategic decision-making.
