• • This Senior Applied AI Solutions Engineer role is designed to bridge the gap between Nebius's rapidly evolving AI cloud platform and the complex needs of our customers. As AI technology advances at an unprecedented pace, this position is crucial for translating possibilities into tangible customer success and informing our product roadmap with real-world insights.
• • You will operate at the critical intersection of deep Machine Learning engineering and impactful product development. Approximately half of your time will be dedicated to customer-facing activities, including guiding new clients from Proof of Concept (POC) to production, conducting technical onboarding, and providing hands-on support throughout their ML workflows. This involves deeply understanding and navigating their existing ML stacks.
• • The other half of your time will be focused on proactive development and innovation. You will build prototypes and explore applied AI use cases that showcase the full potential of the Nebius platform. This includes diving deep into emerging AI techniques before they become mainstream, and translating this expertise into concrete, actionable product direction and enhancements.
• • This is a hands-on role, distinct from a presales position, where you will be actively involved in technical problem-solving and development on a daily basis.
• • Success in this role within the first 12 months will be measured by several key achievements: the creation of a robust library of polished demos and prototypes that significantly aid sales and product teams; demonstrably accelerating the time-to-value for enterprise customers through your direct engagement; influencing the product roadmap with at least 2-3 significant changes driven by your feedback; and enhancing the team's understanding of future applied AI trends through your insights and foresight.
• • Your core responsibilities will encompass building and refining prototypes and demos across Nebius's product suite, including serverless inference, databases, MLflow, MLOps, and specialized vertical applications in Physical AI and HCLS. These assets will serve as invaluable tools for sales, product, and engineering teams.
• • You will provide critical hands-on support to new customers, assisting with POC design, technical onboarding, and validation. You will act as the essential liaison between customer ML teams and the Nebius platform during their crucial initial months of engagement.
• • A significant part of your role involves staying ahead of the curve in applied AI, exploring new training methodologies, inference optimizations, agentic architectures, and novel frameworks. Your findings will be translated into working prototypes, detailed documentation, and strategic product recommendations.
• • You will be instrumental in shaping the product roadmap by providing specific, grounded feedback derived from your field experiences, articulating issues encountered in customer POCs and proposing necessary solutions.
• • Furthermore, you will develop and maintain reusable technical assets, such as code notebooks, reference architectures, and benchmark results, to streamline the onboarding process and reduce friction for customers at scale.
