đź“‹ Description
- • Own the architecture, configuration, governance, and day-to-day health of 1Password’s Atlassian platform, primarily Jira and Statuspage, across engineering and business teams.
- • Design and enforce standardized workflows, issue type schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes, custom fields, screens, and components to ensure consistent, scalable Jira usage.
- • Build, maintain, and optimize complex Jira Automation rules to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and streamline cross-team processes.
- • Partner with engineering, product, IT, and security teams to understand their workflows and design Atlassian solutions that align with how teams actually operate.
- • Participate in the company-wide Jira Council to triage requests, assemble stakeholders, and drive governance decisions that balance platform integrity with evolving business needs.
- • Lead onboarding for new teams and programs, creating training materials, running enablement sessions, and serving as the primary subject matter expert for Atlassian tools.
- • Manage the Atlassian vendor relationship and contribute to shaping the platform roadmap as the Atlassian suite expands within the organization.
- • Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical debt, configuration drift, and process gaps within the Atlassian ecosystem through a structured backlog and proactive maintenance.
- • Evaluate, implement, and govern third-party marketplace apps (e.g., Scriptrunner, Structure, advanced reporting tools) to ensure platform stability, performance, and security compliance.
- • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise systems such as Slack, identity providers, CI/CD pipelines, and CRM platforms.
- • Design and document configuration standards, naming conventions, project creation policies, and permission models to ensure long-term maintainability and handoff readiness.
- • Ensure all Atlassian configurations adhere to corporate compliance and audit standards, with security and privacy embedded in every access control and data handling decision.

- • Stay current with AI-assisted tooling and apply AI builder mentality to automate tasks, solve problems earlier, and enhance platform efficiency without compromising security.
- • Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, configurations, and governance decisions to enable team-wide understanding and continuity.
