📋 Description

• • Senior Automation Engineer OT, NA responsible for developing, planning, and executing operational technology (OT) networks and infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant automation systems across Vantage Data Centers’ North American portfolio.
• • Day-to-day tasks include designing and configuring OT networks using Cisco Stratix switches and industrial firewalls, implementing and troubleshooting DLR and REP topologies, managing security controls like IDS and firewalls, developing automation solutions with Rockwell Automation PLCs, building and maintaining SCADA systems via Inductive Automation Ignition, collaborating with IT and OT teams for system integration, supporting compliance audits, performing network diagnostics and tuning, maintaining technical documentation, assisting in commissioning and startup of new systems, ensuring adherence to IEC-62443 and NIST 800-82 standards, and providing 24/7/365 tier 2 support on a rotating basis.
• • The Automation Systems Group designs, constructs, and supports cutting-edge data center automation and control infrastructure, working closely with Operations, Sales, Engineering, IT, and Management to fulfill customer requirements and manage partner contractors for successful project delivery while maintaining mission-critical control systems across all Vantage locations.
• • In this role, you will deepen expertise in industrial cybersecurity standards, gain hands-on experience with OT/ICS networks and SCADA platforms, develop leadership in OT system standardization and continuous improvement, troubleshoot mission-critical automation systems in live environments, and contribute to the security and reliability of critical data center infrastructure supporting hyperscalers and enterprise clients globally.
