📋 Description

• Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) role focused on leading Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) architecture and operational excellence for enterprise clients in the DACH region.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform or Bicep, drive CI/CD and GitOps strategies, and establish cloud-native security frameworks.
• Serve as a technical architect and mentor, leading architecture reviews, optimizing performance, and advising stakeholders on complex cloud solutions.
• Join a 15-person Azure team within Public Cloud Group AG, a growing European cloud specialist with nearly 500 experts across 21 locations, dedicated to modern, secure, and future-proof IT landscapes.
• Develop expertise in enterprise cloud governance, FinOps, Zero Trust, and multi-cloud environments while shaping technical standards and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in Azure engineering or architecture at enterprise level, ideally with complex customer environments.
• Deep expertise in Azure services including AKS, Entra ID, Key Vault, networking, and containerization (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes).
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep) with experience designing reusable modules and landing zones.
• Strong background in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and GitOps frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud governance, IT security, IAM (Zero Trust), and FinOps principles.
• Active Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification is a significant advantage.
• Fluent communication and consulting skills in German and English, with ability to simplify technical complexity for stakeholders.
• Analytical strength and hands-on mentality to solve complex performance and scaling challenges.
• Team-oriented mindset with drive for results and enjoyment in collaborative, diverse environments.
