📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of mission-critical backend services that power a multi-module, cloud-native web platform used by thousands of concurrent users. You will architect, code, test, deploy, and monitor the systems that keep the product resilient, secure, and lightning-fast.
• Design and implement distributed microservices in GoLang that scale horizontally across Kubernetes clusters on AWS/GCP. You will define service boundaries, choose the right data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB), and enforce contract-first APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Build high-throughput data ingestion pipelines that process millions of events per day from industrial IoT devices via MQTT, OPC UA, REST, and Kafka. You will ensure exactly-once semantics, back-pressure handling, and real-time analytics at sub-second latency.
• Develop automation and scripting services in Python and SQL that orchestrate complex workflows, ETL jobs, and configuration management. You will create self-healing jobs that retry intelligently and surface actionable alerts to SRE teams.
• Create bullet-proof authentication and authorization layers, including 2FA/TOTP, OAuth2, and fine-grained RBAC. You will harden APIs against OWASP Top 10 threats, implement zero-trust networking, and maintain SOC 2 compliance artifacts.
• Ensure production excellence by embedding observability from day one: distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry, structured logging, RED/USE metrics, and automated runbooks. You will lead incident response, conduct blameless post-mortems, and drive SLO/SLA improvements.
• Collaborate daily with cross-functional squads—frontend engineers, QA automation, product managers, and UX researchers—to translate business epics into technical blueprints. You will run architecture design reviews, story-point grooming, and sprint demos.
• Champion engineering best practices: trunk-based development, automated testing (unit, integration, contract, chaos), continuous delivery pipelines, and blue-green or canary releases. You will mentor mid-level developers and conduct pair-programming sessions.
• Optimize cloud spend by profiling CPU, memory, and network usage; tuning JVM/Go runtimes; and leveraging spot instances and auto-scaling policies. You will present cost-saving wins to leadership each quarter.
• Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging technologies—WebAssembly at the edge, GraphQL federation, eBPF for security—and running proof-of-concepts that could give the platform a competitive edge.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development with at least 2 years of production GoLang experience
• Proven track record designing and operating distributed microservices on Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Expertise in high-throughput messaging systems such as Kafka, MQTT, or NATS, including schema evolution and exactly-once semantics
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB) with advanced query tuning and indexing strategies
• Hands-on experience building secure authentication flows (OAuth2, JWT, 2FA/TOTP) and defending against OWASP threats
• Nice-to-have: Python scripting for data pipelines, Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure-as-code, and prior exposure to industrial protocols like OPC UA
