đź“‹ Description
- • Own the design, development, and continuous improvement of Capital Rx’s integration layer, the connective tissue that allows Judi to exchange mission-critical data with PBMs, health plans, TPAs, clearinghouses, and government payers in real time.
- • Lead end-to-end ownership of high-volume, low-latency integrations (REST, SOAP, FHIR, EDI X12, HL7) that process millions of pharmacy and medical claims daily, ensuring 99.9 % uptime and sub-second response times.
- • Translate complex partner specifications into elegant, scalable micro-services written in Python (FastAPI) and Go, deployed on AWS EKS with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) and protected by OAuth 2.0, mTLS, and field-level encryption.
- • Architect resilient data pipelines that ingest, normalize, and enrich eligibility, formulary, pricing, and claims data from more than 200 disparate sources, leveraging Kafka, Kinesis, and Airflow to guarantee exactly-once semantics and auditable lineage.
- • Collaborate daily with product managers, clinical analysts, and client success teams to prioritize new integrations, scope technical requirements, and deliver features that materially reduce drug costs for Medicare, Medicaid, and employer-sponsored populations.
- • Establish and evangelize best practices for API versioning, backward compatibility, automated testing (pytest, Postman/Newman, Pact), and continuous deployment via GitHub Actions, ensuring every commit is production-ready and compliant with HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2.
- • Mentor a distributed team of backend and DevOps engineers through pair programming, architecture reviews, and brown-bag sessions, fostering a culture of psychological safety and relentless improvement.
- • Monitor, profile, and optimize system performance using Datadog, Prometheus, and custom dashboards; conduct quarterly capacity planning exercises to stay ahead of 3× annual growth in transaction volume.
- • Champion security-first development: conduct threat modeling, static code analysis (Bandit, Gosec), and dependency scanning (Snyk) to safeguard PHI and maintain Capital Rx’s reputation as a trusted public benefit corporation.
- • Contribute to open-source projects and internal SDKs that accelerate partner onboarding from months to weeks, directly advancing the company’s mission to rebuild trust in healthcare through transparent, interoperable technology.
- • Partner with compliance and legal teams to interpret evolving CMS, state Medicaid, and PBM regulations, translating policy changes into configurable rules engines that keep clients compliant without costly code rewrites.
- • Present technical roadmaps and integration successes to executive leadership and external stakeholders, translating complex engineering achievements into clear business value: lower drug spend, faster prior authorizations, and improved patient outcomes.
