📋 Description
- • Senior Backend Software Engineer role focused on developing and stabilizing the Subscriptions system at GameChanger, a remote-first tech company dedicated to enhancing youth sports experiences through technology.
- • Lead and collaborate on new feature development within the Subscriptions Backend, including creating subscription plans, tracking updates from providers like Apple, and ensuring user access aligns with paid subscriptions.
- • Improve system observability, reliability, and maintainability; participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical documentation; work with Data Engineers to analyze subscription purchasing behavior.
- • Join a mission-driven team building tools for youth sports communities, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager of Subscriptions Enablement, with opportunities to grow technical leadership and impact system scalability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years in a software development role
- • 4+ years experience with Node.js or another backend technology
- • 1+ years experience leading and implementing complex designs
- • Experience with TypeScript (preferred)
- • Experience with AWS-deployed systems (preferred)
