• Are you a seasoned DevOps professional with a passion for the transformative power of blockchain technology? Mlabs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project for a prominent UAE-based enterprise blockchain and fintech client, working remotely and making a significant impact.
• As a Senior Blockchain DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust infrastructure that underpins our client's innovative blockchain solutions. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring the seamless, secure, and efficient deployment and management of complex blockchain networks and applications.
• Your primary focus will be on architecting and automating the build, test, and deployment pipelines for blockchain projects. This involves leveraging your deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices, coupled with specialized knowledge of blockchain technologies, to create scalable, reliable, and secure environments.
• You will be responsible for setting up and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible). This includes ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization of the blockchain nodes and associated services.
• A key aspect of your role will involve implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD strategies tailored for blockchain development. This means understanding the unique challenges of blockchain deployments, such as immutability, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract updates, and developing automated workflows to address them.
• You will play a crucial role in monitoring the health and performance of the blockchain network and its supporting infrastructure. This includes setting up comprehensive logging, alerting, and tracing systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Security will be paramount in your responsibilities. You will be tasked with implementing and enforcing security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle, including secure coding practices, vulnerability management, access control, and network security for blockchain environments.
• Collaboration will be at the heart of this role. You will work closely with blockchain developers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into robust and scalable infrastructure solutions. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the technical direction of the projects.
• You will be involved in troubleshooting complex technical issues that arise in production and pre-production environments, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technology, DevOps tools, and cloud computing is essential. You will be encouraged to research and propose new technologies and methodologies that can enhance our client's blockchain infrastructure and operations.
• This role offers the chance to work on diverse blockchain platforms and protocols, potentially including Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, or other enterprise-grade solutions, depending on the client's specific needs.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps processes and tooling, fostering a culture of automation, efficiency, and reliability.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols, which are fundamental to blockchain technology.
• You will be expected to document infrastructure designs, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on blockchain infrastructure and deployment.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) tailored for blockchain projects.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract deployment.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
