- • Temporary Senior Business Analyst role starting July 1 for approximately 12 months, requiring full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during business hours.
- • Must be a W2 employee located within the United States and committed to working during CST or EST time zones.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between the client’s product team and internal development teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- • Lead requirement elicitation sessions with client stakeholders to uncover functional and non-functional needs, ensuring alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Analyze, document, and refine business, functional, and non-functional requirements into clear, actionable formats including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with architects and project managers, breaking down complex initiatives into manageable development tasks.
- • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews to ensure consistent delivery on an agile cadence.
- • Create detailed test cases and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with clients to validate feature delivery and ensure quality outcomes.
- • Conduct regular demonstrations and showcases to communicate progress, gather feedback, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- • Track and manage scope changes through formal change management processes to maintain project integrity and timeline adherence.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while juggling multiple client initiatives in a fast-paced agency environment.
- • Collaborate closely with technical architects and development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements and seamless implementation.
- • Utilize Jira and Confluence to document requirements, track progress, and maintain centralized project artifacts.
- • Support client questions and provide ongoing clarification of requirements to prevent misalignment and delays.
- • Participate in estimation and scope creation activities with project managers to define realistic timelines and resource needs.
- • Must have proven experience working on both web and mobile application projects.
- • Must be comfortable rapidly ramping up on new domains, technologies, and client business models.
- • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to facilitate, negotiate, present, and adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
- • Maintain strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- • Work remotely and asynchronously across time zones while maintaining high responsiveness and accountability.
- • Deliver on commitments consistently and manage stakeholder expectations with professionalism and clarity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a client-facing role
- • Experience working in an agency or professional services environment
- • Proven experience working on web and mobile application projects
- • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
- • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- • Ability to work remotely and asynchronously across time zones
