- • Lead the end-to-end strategy, governance, and optimization of the enterprise product catalog across hospitality, travel, and resort sectors, ensuring scalable and consistent data models power digital experiences.
- • Serve as the primary Product Owner and business lead for the evaluation, deployment, and rollout of the enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem, with a targeted preference for Akeneo.
- • Architect omnichannel-ready product schemas that model complex variations, hierarchies, and cross-sell structures for accommodations, activities, memberships, mobility, and retail offerings.
- • Drive integration strategy between the PIM system and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), resort channel managers, inventory engines, payment platforms, and CRM solutions using API-driven architectures.
- • Optimize product discoverability and merchant capabilities by configuring rich metadata, media, and promotional bundles to enhance personalization and recommendation engines across mobile apps and booking funnels.
- • Establish and enforce corporate data validation benchmarks, track catalog health metrics, and manage multilingual localization layers across +8 languages.
- • Define master catalog vision, operating model, taxonomy structures, data ownership rules, and lifecycle management workflows across distinct product business lines.
- • Facilitate alignment workshops and coordinate directly between Revenue Management, Commerce, Digital Experience teams, and external implementation partners to ensure cross-functional cohesion.
- • Ensure seamless data flow and consistency between PIM and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, maintaining data integrity across digital touchpoints.
- • Maintain deep technical understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, data governance frameworks, and validation schemas to support enterprise-scale catalog operations.
- • Collaborate with global teams aligned to Middle East working hours (Gulf Standard Time / Eastern European Time) to support operations in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
- • Manage the onboarding of new product lines into the PIM ecosystem while ensuring compliance with established data standards and localization requirements.
- • Monitor and improve catalog health through continuous measurement of data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across all product categories and regions.
- • Act as the subject matter expert for product data strategy, advising stakeholders on best practices for catalog structure, enrichment, and distribution.
- • Partner with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems to ensure media assets are correctly linked, tagged, and synchronized with product records in the PIM.
- • Support the implementation of analytics-driven catalog improvements by leveraging product analytics tools such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.
- • Maintain up-to-date documentation of catalog processes, data models, integration specifications, and governance policies for internal and external stakeholders.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PIM platform functionality through feedback loops with technical teams and vendor partners.
- • Ensure all catalog data supports global commerce initiatives, including multi-currency, multi-language, and region-specific compliance requirements.
- • Represent the catalog and PIM function in cross-departmental initiatives related to digital transformation, customer experience, and revenue growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, Digital Commerce, Information Systems, Hospitality, or a related field
- • 10+ years of dedicated professional experience in Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog Management, Digital Commerce, or Master Data Management (MDM)
- • Proven experience leading enterprise PIM implementations specifically within the hospitality, travel, resorts, e-commerce, marketplaces, or booking ecosystems
- • Strong technical strategy background with PIM setups (targeted preference for Akeneo, or platforms like Salsify, Informatica, Pimcore, Stibo Systems, or inriver)
- • Direct experience working alongside Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms
- • Thorough understanding of API-driven integrations, data validation schemas, Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, and data governance frameworks
