- • Lead the end-to-end strategy, governance, and optimization of the enterprise product catalog for a global digital communications agency serving hospitality, travel, and tourism clients.
- • Serve as the primary Product Owner and business lead for the implementation and rollout of the enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem, with a targeted preference for Akeneo.
- • Architect omnichannel product data models that accommodate complex hierarchies, variations, and cross-sell structures across accommodations, activities, memberships, mobility, and retail offerings.
- • Drive integration of the PIM system with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), resort channel managers, inventory engines, payment platforms, and CRM solutions using API-driven architectures.
- • Define and enforce master data ownership rules, taxonomy structures, and lifecycle management workflows across multiple product business lines.
- • Configure rich metadata, media assets, and promotional bundles to enhance product discoverability, personalization, and recommendation engine performance in booking funnels and mobile apps.
- • Establish corporate data validation benchmarks and track catalog health metrics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- • Manage multilingual localization layers for product data across +8 languages, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy for global markets.
- • Facilitate alignment workshops and coordinate directly between Revenue Management, Commerce, Digital Experience, and external implementation partners to ensure cross-functional buy-in.
- • Maintain deep expertise in data governance frameworks, Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, and schema validation standards for enterprise product data.
- • Collaborate with teams across the Middle East (Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Egypt) requiring flexibility to align with Gulf Standard Time (GST) and Eastern European Time (EET) working hours.
- • Ensure all product information supports high-impact digital experiences for enterprise-grade clients including major regional brands, government entities, and large-scale destination enterprises.
- • Act as the subject matter expert on PIM and catalog strategy, advising stakeholders on best practices for scalable, localized, and conversion-optimized product data.
- • Evaluate and recommend PIM platform enhancements, ensuring alignment with evolving digital commerce and digital experience needs.
- • Maintain documentation of catalog standards, integration specifications, and data workflows for internal teams and external vendors.
- • Support the onboarding of new product lines and business units into the centralized PIM ecosystem with minimal disruption to live systems.
- • Monitor performance of product data across digital channels and initiate corrective actions to resolve data quality issues impacting conversion rates.
- • Partner with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems to ensure seamless synchronization of media assets with product records in the PIM.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance policies and catalog operational processes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, Digital Commerce, Information Systems, Hospitality, or a related field
- • 10+ years of dedicated professional experience in Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog Management, Digital Commerce, or Master Data Management (MDM)
- • Proven experience leading enterprise PIM implementations specifically within the hospitality, travel, resorts, e-commerce, marketplaces, or booking ecosystems
- • Strong technical strategy background with PIM platforms (Akeneo preferred; also Salsify, Informatica, Pimcore, Stibo Systems, or inriver)
- • Direct experience working alongside Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Cloud platforms
- • Thorough understanding of API-driven integrations, data validation schemas, Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, and data governance frameworks
