Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • As a Senior Change Management Specialist at Autodesk, Inc., you will be a pivotal strategic advisor and a hands-on leader, instrumental in guiding the company through significant enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role demands a unique blend of deep expertise in change management principles, robust business acumen, and exceptional consultative skills, all aimed at effectively influencing senior leadership and achieving tangible, measurable outcomes.
  • • You will operate with a substantial degree of autonomy, taking ownership of complex workstreams and ensuring that change management strategies are seamlessly integrated across various programs. A key aspect of your role will be to meticulously prepare, engage, and align stakeholders, ensuring their readiness and commitment to the success of these transformations.
  • • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Change Management (based in the U.S.), you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in established change management methodologies, such as Prosci and Kotter. Your ability to influence high-level stakeholders and foster alignment among diverse global teams will be critical to your success.
  • • You will be responsible for owning and leading the change strategy for major transformation workstreams, ensuring that these efforts are in lockstep with overarching enterprise objectives. This involves not just planning but also active execution and guidance.
  • • A core function of this role is to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives. You will provide critical insights into potential change risks, assess organizational readiness, and develop effective adoption strategies that pave the way for successful implementation.
  • • You will play a crucial role in driving integration across multiple, often disparate, initiatives. Your goal will be to ensure a unified and consistent transformation experience for all stakeholders, preventing fragmentation and confusion.
  • • Conducting comprehensive change impact assessments will be a key responsibility. You will translate the findings from these assessments into practical, actionable strategies that address potential challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • • Developing compelling, executive-level narratives and recommendations is essential. These communications will be vital for informing strategic decision-making and accelerating the adoption of new processes and systems.
  • • You will be expected to leverage data and analytics effectively. This involves not only measuring the impact of change initiatives and tracking progress but also using these insights to continuously optimize change strategies for better results.
  • • Influencing senior leadership and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams will be paramount. You will work to embed change management principles and practices directly into the fabric of the company's business processes.
  • • Proactively identifying potential risks and anticipating resistance are critical. You will develop and implement robust mitigation strategies to address these challenges before they impede progress.
  • • Continuous innovation in change management approaches will be encouraged. You will need to adapt and evolve strategies to effectively navigate complex and often ambiguous organizational environments.
  • • Preparing and delivering strategic presentations that clearly articulate transformation progress, highlight risks, and propose actionable recommendations will be a regular part of your duties.
  • • You will provide global change leadership, ensuring that regional strategies are harmonized with enterprise objectives and that crucial cultural considerations are thoughtfully integrated into all change plans.
  • • This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong strategic thinking capabilities, and is adept at driving complex organizational change. Your contributions will directly impact Autodesk's ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly evolving market.
