- • As a Senior CLM Engineer at Marqeta, you will architect, build, and enhance the systems and automations that drive the contract lifecycle from intake to execution and downstream fulfillment, directly impacting Legal and GTM contracting operations.
- • Day to day, you will own Ironclad configurations, design and optimize workflows, approval chains, templates, and metadata structures, while architecting and maintaining integrations between Ironclad and Salesforce CPQ, Opportunity, Quote, and Order objects.
- • You will work closely with Legal, Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, and Compliance teams to translate contract policy into scalable workflow logic and partner with Salesforce engineering to ensure consistent data models and eliminate manual hand-offs.
- • In this role, you will develop Ironclad API integrations, webhooks, and data syncs with internal systems like DocuSign and Intacct, build audit-compliant solutions, create operational dashboards, and evaluate AI-driven features such as clause extraction and risk scoring to drive continuous improvement.
- • You will also provide documentation, design specifications, and cross-team training, ensure SOX and ITGC compliance, and maintain strong relationships with Legal, Sales Ops, Security, and Compliance to align on processes and deliver high-impact CLM improvements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience building and managing CLM solutions, with at least 3+ years hands-on in Ironclad.
- • Deep expertise with Ironclad workflow configuration, templates, dynamic fields, conditional logic, intake, and repository setup.
- • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (products, quotes, pricing rules, approval rules, quote-to-contract handoff).
- • Solid understanding of contract lifecycle processes across Legal, Sales, Finance, and Compliance.
- • Experience building secure, scalable enterprise workflows and delivering measurable business impact.
- • Ability to translate complex contract processes into clean, maintainable CLM logic.
- • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, automation tools, and governance best practices.
- • Experience with SOX, audit controls, metadata governance, and change management.
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
