- • The Senior Cloud Engineer I at Kaplan designs, implements, and manages cloud-based solutions using Azure and AWS to support the organization’s infrastructure and application needs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security while collaborating with IT and development teams to optimize resources and support business objectives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructures, developing cloud strategies and architecture frameworks, monitoring and optimizing cloud resources, implementing security controls and compliance policies, deploying automation via Terraform or CloudFormation, building CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, conducting root cause analysis, mentoring junior engineers, and maintaining detailed documentation and performance reports.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- • Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
- • Proven experience with Azure and AWS platforms, including managing and deploying services
- • Proficiency in core Azure and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory
- • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation
- • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification
