Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (OpenStack / Virtualization)

📋 Description

• • Lead the re-platforming and build-out of an internal KVM-based virtualization environment on new UCS hardware in the Ashburn data center, integrating OpenStack and open-source automation tools to support migration from legacy systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure.
• • Tear down and rebuild existing ESX-based UCS blade environments, transitioning to KVM virtualization; design and implement OpenStack platforms; integrate SAN and NetApp storage; deploy automation tools like Ansible; collaborate with internal and offshore teams; document architecture and procedures; and support ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting.
